This association has led the teams to numerous World Cup and World Championship titles and gold medals at the Nagano 1998 Olympics Winter Games and the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games.
In addition to supporting the Bobsleigh and Skeleton Teams, Visa also offers support to the individual athletes. At the beginning of each season, a Welcome Bonus is presented to all athletes named to the Development and National teams, and prizes are awarded to the Top Five athletes on each team at the conclusion of the season.

In a great showing, the team of Pierre Lueders and Lascelles Brown claimed the silver medal in the two-man event at the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games.
The women's team saw a close race with Helen Upperton and Heather Moyse placing 4th, only -0.05 s out of medal contention.

The Canadian men continued to prove their dominance at the Torino 2006 Olympic Winter Games with three top-four finishes. Duff Gibson claimed gold while teammate Jeff Pain took home the silver.
In the women's competition, Mellisa Hollingsworth-Richards continued a stellar season capturing the bronze medal.
